Why Marina Collections Need Planning

Dubai Marina is the densest tower cluster in the city, and that changes how a furniture collection actually runs. Almost every job here is decided by building access, not by the furniture itself.

• Service lift booking is essential. Most Marina towers require the service lift to be reserved in advance and will not allow furniture through the passenger lifts. We plan our arrival around your slot rather than turning up and waiting.
• Loading bays are tight and time-limited. Marina basements have restricted height and short standing times, so we bring the right vehicle for the building instead of the biggest one available.
• Moving permits and NOCs. Many towers want a moving NOC from the management office plus a deposit. Apply a couple of days ahead — it is the single most common cause of a delayed collection here.
• Compact, apartment-scale furniture. Marina stock is typically one and two bedroom: modular sofas, wall units, queen beds and desks. Complete matching sets from a furnished let are worth noticeably more as one lot.
• Short notice is normal. A lot of Marina sellers are leaving the UAE within days. We can usually work to that, but two weeks notice will always get you a better price than forty-eight hours.
